Die englische bezeichnung "Edible Frog" finde ich genauso makaber wie Rana esculenta (was übrigens dasselbe bedeutet), führt das doch zu der Annahme, die Tiere seien nur zum Essen da. Gibt's aber auch im Deutchen - bestes Beispiel: die Suppenschildkröte!
Das Bild ist übrigens sehr schön und erinnert mich daran, mich mal wieder an den Teich zu setzen und das emsige Treiben der Tiere zu beobachten...
